Beru Plug Wires and MSD 6AL
Can anyone tell me if Beru spark plug wires are soild core? Just had a major engine rebuild and installed an MSD 6AL ignition system in my 79' 911SC 3L and it seems to "stutter" at higher RPM's.
MSD manual warns not to use solid core wires with their system. Just wondering if this could be my problem.

- the important factor is that the suppression is in the connectors, so you do really have it (which meets the MSD rqmt)
suggest testing your connectors for potential source of your complaint
check this "some of the early cars had black connectors that measured 1K. the brown ones are 3k." - at http://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsc...eter-ohms.html > or just google it
eventually i switched to magnecor per advice from Steve above & currently run 'em on my motronic 3.2
