Back In the Saddle
I recently returned to the Porsche fold by purchasing a 1975 911S. Long story, but it belonged to a friend of mine, hasn't been on the road in 14 years, excellent body (no rust at all) and interior, 70K miles but has a blown motor. Price seemed right at $1000.00
I bought it more on emotion than anything else (I graduated from High School in '75 and lusted after the car). I did no homework before buying the car and have been catching up since.
I've scan as many posts as possible on the "issues" with the 2.7L motor and feel I'm gaining an appreciation of the engine task at hand. The information on this site and others has been extremly helpful.
The main point of this post is suspension upgrades: there are few references to improving the suspension of the 911S, but scant hard data. Can anyone direct me to specifics?
Thanks, and it is good to be back!

Nice work: at $1k, you did very well as long as this car has no rust issues.
Suspension upgrades are framed by how one uses the car; street, Driver's Education (track) events, and racing.
I would suggest that you look at http://www.rennsportsystems.com/2.html for some useful information about suspensions and other subjects you might find interesting,...

Please let me know if I can be of further assistance.
