I would like to recommend to all Porsche 911 series tires.

The tires look amazing couldn't ask for anything better and for the price well worth it. The installation was very easy took it to a shop they did it less then 30 mins.

I don't, but I've driven similar cars with different tires. My 71 had modern Bridgestones on it (albeit 2012 dates) and the CN36 feel better in all aspects.

My understanding is the Pirelli classic tires are using modern construction and rubber, but building them so they respect the size, look, and feel of the period.

Pirelli are remaking the original P7.

I just put a set of the Michelin Pilot Sport AS3 Plus on my '88 coupe with 16" factory wheels last year. I decided to go this route since I drive the car pretty deep into colder weather with potential for frosty roads and also use the car for trips regularly and wanted a good rain tire. I think the AS3 Plus hits the marks really well for these needs and has a great feel when pushed pretty quick too. Last set were the Bridgestone RE11's which were an awesome sport tire but definitely suffered in the cold temps and heavy rain. You can feel the softer sidewall on the Michelin which helps in comfort but you can also feel a little squish in the hard corners. What are your primary needs?
