Question upgrading a 2.2E engine to a 2.2S on 1969 911S Targa

Hi,
I'm trying to understand the difficulty and cost of upgrading my car a 1969
911 Targa (S chasis) that originally came with a 2.2S engine that was replaced with a
2.2E engine when the original when bust.

What do I need to replace and what
are the most costly transformations (injection has already been redone to
S specs).

Has a classic car how important his (market value wise) the fact that the
car doesn't have the original engine and the new engine is an upgrade. I've
been told that this car will never be a classic and will Inevitably end up
as parts.

Thanks,
Tiago

I am no expert but I think for starters the cams and pistons would have to be changed. I am sure there are additional items as well. Some other places to post this question and look for answers would be these 2 places

<a href="http://www.911t.org/specs6971/specs6971.html" target="_blank">Early 911 specs</a>

Hope this helps a little.
