Default Will Kinesis wheels fit an 84?

Does anyone know if these wheels/tires will fit my 84 Carrera? Do I need spacers?
17" Kinesis K57 wheels / Kumho MX tires:
Front: 7.5" et60 225/45-17
Rear: 9.0" et50 255/40-17

Right now, I have 7.5" front Fuchs and 9" Fuch rears with Michelin Pilots 205/55-ZR16s on front and 245/45-ZR16 in rear.

It's difficult to put wheels like Kinesis and Fikse's on a chart, as they are available in a number of offsets. In any event, the wheels you list generally should fit with spacers. You need a spacer to make up the difference between the larger offset and the stock offset. So, simply, if the stock offset is 20mm and the wheel you want to fit is 50mm, you need a 30mm spacer. BTW, Fuchs never made a 7.5" rim. It's either 7 or 8 inches (unless you have an HRE look-alike or custom made rim with a Fuchs center).

Can you trial fit the wheels?

The correct o/s for an '84 Carrera is ~+23 ... +31 for a 7" or 8" front wheel, so to use the +60mm o/s Kinesis that you asked about you will need ~37mm spacer.

The correct o/s for an '84 Carrera is ~ +14...+19 for a 9" rear wheel, so to use the +50mm o/s Kinesis that you asked about you will need ~35mm spacer.

You can do this but I wouldn't

Go here for a more current summary of what has been demonstrated to work.

Now this is why I love Rennlist and can easily justify my membership. Thanks to all of you for such thorough and quick responses. Simply amazing. (I never got this kind of camaraderie in the Corvette days of old...)
