Talking Suggestions on selling PRICE for my 83 911sc ???

Hi Guys,

I want to sell my 83 911sc and it's in great condition with 75k miles. It's GP white and brand new black leather interior with the turbo whale tail and all the necessary upgrades. I just completed a valve adjustment last week and the car is runnig great. Compared to concourse cars my car is a 9/10.

What would be a reasonable selling price for my p-car?

I will post photos soon on the web.

Thanks,

Leo

Leo,

Are you the original owner and do you have the complete service history on the car?

Leo,

You should get several data points, consider anything unique that affects value, and the economic climate. Kelly Blue Book private party value (person to person non dealer sale) on an 83 with 75K in excellent condition is $11,070. Bruce Anderson in his market update in the August 2001 Excellence would say the poor/good/excellent values would be $13,501/$15,351/$20,550. Kelly Blue Book retail $13,235. NADA Guide for an 82SC (Only showed a turbo for 83) is low retail/avg retail/high retail is $12,150/$13,800/$18,400. You can also check the PCA web site to see what people are asking, check Excellence to see what people are telling Bruce Anderson they paid for their Porsches, check your local PCA region web sites to see what others are asking, check Pano, even Yahoo autos for sale.

I would think winter pricing in CT would be 12.5-13.5 K at best. Spring would be much better.
