One of my 964's has its rear defrost not working. The dash **** operates and lights up but no defrost action in the rear glass at all.

Took to shop, shop said the circuit is fine, the glass is bad (high resistance thru glass), I would need to replace the rear glass to get the defrost circuit working properly.

1. Does this sound right? Anything else to check before pursuing rear glass replacement?
2. Is the 964 rear glass same as 993 or earlier 911's?
