Hi, I have a 1977 911 with 11in 930 flares, it running Fuchs 16x9 on the rear. Can anyone give me advice on the best tires to suit this car please? Thank you.

Hi there,
I do believe factory sizes were 205/55 16 and 245/45 16 (25" tall), here's some Pirellis on TireRack as an example.
It's also common to see folks running 225/50 16 and 245/45 16, here's some Toyos in those sizes.
Hope this helps…

Hi, the factory spec is 245 / 45 on the rear of the 16in Fuchs, I’m new into this so what is the difference in look and feel from a 245 / 45 and a 245 / 50?thanks guys.

Reasons
1) the inertial cost of the 245/45 is ~4 lb-ft less per tire even if they weigh the same(which they don't)
2) the gearing cost for the 245/45 is ~6.5 lb-ft less
3) due to the geometry of the wheel/tire assembly the 245/45 will grip better all else being equal.

The 245/50's would also jack up your rear-end by about a half-inch (tire diameter is closer to 26", instead of factory 25"), which likely wouldn't help your handling characteristics…
