I'm charting a course from my home in northern NJ to a spot we need to get to in eastern PA, and went looking for an old article in Car & Driver, I think, on the greatest driving roads in each of the 50 states. I used the google search "50 best driving roads usa," which I think was more or less the article title. I thought the NJ road listed in that article might be on my way, or at least a little ways out of it. Didn't find the article, but I did come up with lots of good stuff, including one site that listed the NJ road I'd been looking for, and I made a list of the great sounding roads within reasonable striking distance of home. Then I thought, why keep this to myself, so I've attached the list--hope y'all find it useful. As you'll see, I've omitted some of the obvious ones, like the Blue Ridge Parkway in VA and NC, but there's lot's of good stuff.
