It hurts to know that someone like myself (and most of you here on rennlist) would push that car, possibly to the limit, and enjoy it for what it was made for...possibly bring it to its "homeland" (the track, of course).
This is almost as bad as the guy who won't drive his 986 S to work because he's afraid of "door dings" in the parking lot. Boo Hoo, cry me an F'ing river!
Some people do enjoy just knowing they have the car in the garage and really enjoy having a low mileage sports car to look at. To each his own. It's his money, he can do what he wants with his car.
But, I think he should have at least broken that car in with a few thousand miles while it was under warranty to insure all is right and there were no manufacturing defects... His car is not even broken in. 680 miles on the odometer isn't much different than several thousand. Both figures are considered very low mileage.
I wonder how he can even comment on the car since 680 miles spread out over so few trips and several years leaves for very vague memories... I only get to drive my car about 1000 miles per year for 5/6 months out of the year and I almost have to relearn the darn thing every time I get in it once a month...
I too wondered about that guy. I'd have that many miles on it the first month! As to Brittney Spears- I dont think she'd pass the the CarFax.....but I'd do a thorough PPI on her.....
Dan
Yeah, I never quite got the ultra-low mileage thing either. Maybe if you have a stable of cars a few like that would be ok but honestly, these cars were built to be DRIVEN. Some cars are historically important and should be in museums but for the most part drive'em I say, the harder the better. Same goes for Brittany.....

Amen brother! and the 911 just begs you to drive it like you stole it! (and I would imagine Britney too!)
