Different brands
I have went thru several scenarios with my tire guys. If I put the rear Toyos on the front 7" rims I could find the widest 16" Toyos for the rear.At least the brands would match, albeit the tread pattern are very different.
I could do a similar change using the TA radial front and rear. I guess my real question concerns the suitability of the TAs for spirited street driving with the P car.
I'M ASKING FOR OPINIONS. Is the TA as good a tire as the tire and wheel guy claim, or would I be better (handling, road adhesion, tracking, etc) as the Toyo tires.
Sorry to be so wordy

If it were my car, I'd lose the T/A's and get 4 good matched tires that complement the chassis dynamics of your TL.
Some Toyo's are OK, some are not.
These cars have "unusual" handling characteristics and I do anything in my power to equip these cars with tires are all of the same brand, model, type and speed rating.
Personally, I use either Bridgestone S0-2's SO-3's, Dunlop SP-9000's, Michelin Pilot Sports, or Yokohama AVS Sports. P-zero's are OK but not forgiving at the limit and rather harsh riding.
The PO had just put this assortment of tires on before he sold the car, and they are almost new. On one of my previous P car I Used RE71s and I really liked them. My wife has Pirellis on her Audi and they are really sticky. I'm kinda leaning towards Bridgestone S0-2s, but I like the tread pattern on the Pirellis.
Thanks again for your response . I try and read all your posts-I appreciate you wisdom and experience.
