Post Obscure Part Search

I am installing door stays on my car (They were not there when I bought it).

Got the kit but do not have the pin which comletes the attachment of the door stay to the door frame.

Any thoughts on what I should/could use as the pin ???

Over the last several months, I have replace both my door stops. Ordered from Performance Products. New pins came with mine. Check www.performanceproducts.com

most folks just use a 6mm bolt and nylock nut. tighten enough to create a slight bind, so the door won't make that popping sound when it's opened or closed. can't do that with a pin.
