Default Steering wheel bushing

I have lots of play in my steering wheel and need to fix it. I bought an OEM style and the aftermarket.....they both about the same price. Which one should I fit?

The oem one is actually for a 928. It will work but not perfect and i had it in for a while. There is talk of it being steel and will wear the steering shaft ,,, in about 2500 years of use i would think
The other one was invented by a guy on the list and ive read good things
I opted for cutting up an edge shave gell lid to the right size and jamming it in. Its been there for 12 years with zero play and better ... zero cost
Ps the shave gel is decent too !!

I've tried the shave gel and yes it works great. Sorry I'm no help on the steering wheel play.

TargaPaul,

^ I have use both over over the years, IMHO the one pictured on the right is much better.

Make sure to clean out all of the little broken bits prior to installing, a paper clip straightened out works well.

Just did this. Used the one on the right. Worked perfectly.
