Default Bentley manual for a '77' 3.0 Carrera ?

Being unable to use the German text OEM '77' 3.0 Carrera manuals. Would the 78-83 SC Bentley manual be of use for small projects on my Carrera, excluding of course my 930-02 engine ?

Yes, there are only minor differences. The engine is basicly a 2.7 crank and ignition, in a 930 case, w/ SC heads/cams. Most of the rest is standard SC fare. Watch out for differences in US vs ROW. I got along fine for ~25yrs w/ just an Autobook #889 "Porsche 911 1970 - 77" and a Haynes #264 "Porsche 911". the Bentley is much higher quality than either of the ones I had.
