I've acquired most of what i need to convert the full power top on my 1988 cabriolet to a manual top. My question is regarding the latch receivers. I'm getting conflicting information as to whether the latch receivers from the power top can work with manual latches. The other threads I've found about this mention changing the receivers but the parts supplier is telling me the power latch receivers will work with manual latches. You just can't use manual receivers with power latches if that makes sense. Do any of you have experience with this?
