How to remove this cable from the speedo
How to disconnect this black cable? I don't want to yank on it and create a bigger problem.

Sorry I didn't post a picture. But here is another question: I have a feeling that the plastic gear is stripped, but I can't be sure because I cannot see the whole gear. If I need to remove that gear how to I remove the brass piece that's holding it on the speedometer.
The odometer stopped working.
