Air Pump
Anyone no if the air pump on my 79sc is needed or not? One of the six lines that go into the exhaust valves is not connected and I'm wondering since one isn't connected can I just remove the whole system.
Also I recently removed my heat exchangers and the exhaust valve that is not connected to the air pump is darker inside than the others, is this something I should be concerned with or not? I'm assuming that the emmissions in the valves with the air pump still connected are more completly burned, however I'm new to this weekend mechanic deal and am not sure.
