Default looking for a set of Hella 118 horn grill mounted driving lamps

does any one know where i can find a set of hella 118 horn grill mounted driving lamps? can they be had for under 300?

i figure some of you r-gruppers might know of somewhere, where i can find a set.

if these are that hard to get ahold of (with out paying an arm and a ********) what do you vintage guys suggest as an acceptable substitute, thats not hard to find, that will still look good and correct?

Default Grille mount driving lights

Harry:
You can try Michael Lederman at Lunar Lighting (310)-721-2516, e-mail lunarlites@yahoo.com. I checked with him about a year ago and at that time he had no Hella in stock. Also, at that time, the Hella were $400 a set, without the modified horn grills.

Harry .......If you can wait until the 1st of the month, I'm going to Dunkel's swapmeet and the Memmorabilia meet in LA. There is usually lighting 'stuff' for sale. And Lederman is always there. Just don't expect a bargain from him, he only sells mint quality, concours items, meaning big $.

hmmm... even with my new job i cant quite afford concourse quality.

let me think about it, and ill get back with you about what im willing to spend or what ever else i might want.

heck.. i might even be headed out there -was gonna ask my boss on monday what kind of employee deals i could get as far as plain tickets (leaving friday night after work, and comming back sunday night). i found tickets on our website for 150, where i can name my own price, and they agreed 150.. but the tickets would be for a certian departure times, not yet determined. i would have jumped on that already, but seeing as how i just started i cant take off work to fly in the middle of the day.

at least thats what ive been debating.. going to dunkles, seeing all my 912 friends again, and probably meeting the great Robert and JoAnne, or spending that same money on the car.
