Window motor electrical connection
I am ready to pull out what little hair I have left. I need to replace the passenger side window motor in my 1988 911. Before pulling the whole regulator and motor assemble out I wanted to do one last test to make sure the wires from the switch to the motor aren’t the problem. I have not seen this type of connector before and have tried everything to release this connector. As my frustration builds, I’m afraid that I might break the connector. Attached is a picture of the motor showing the connection on the motor. I can wiggle the connector but can’t get it to release….please help.

Burning Brakes
Red,
I just got into this a couple months ago. Sometimes the release snaps/breaks (plastic) due to age. I had to get a tiny screw driver involved. I was about to just cut it out when I got it to release......... I chased my problem to a switch.

AG81,
Thanks, I'll just keep working at it I guess. I was hoping there was something I was missing... I've worked on these cars for 20 years and have not seen this connector before. I guess worst case I have to splice in new connectors.

Has anyone tried drilling holes in the door to expose the screws holding the motor to the regulator? I was thinking about trying that to remove the motor w/o having to remove the regulator. That would eliminate a lot of work if it is possible. Any input would be appreciated.
