Default fuch wheel repairs

Just picked up a nice 89 that needs a few of the factory wheels refurbished

Search came up with nothing, but I am sure it has been extensively discussed previously

Any recommendations on where to send them?

Harvey Weidman: Weidman Wheels in Oroville, CA 95966. Best in the biz. Long wait but worth it.

Default Anywhere BUT www.fuchsrestoration.com. AMATEURS

They runined two sets of mine, lied about it and basically told me too bad. $10,000 down the drain. Damaged two turbo sets.
Before anodizing the wheels have to be polished. They over polished in some areas and now the wheels look warped / fun house mirror and some of the hard edges are now rounded. Hard to tell by photo, but trust me they are MESSED UP BAD!
Here’s one photo I have many others.

Agreed.... BEST! Just tell Harvey you are an individual NOT a restoration shop etc. Shorter time.

That's good to know. I haven't used them yet and I won't use them knowing this. I'll take them off my Bookmarks List.

I was also told by the owner of www.fuchsrestoration.com they were going out of business in a few months. This is in a text from him to me after I said I would take him to civil court ( small claims ) In retaliation the owner threatened to sick his Fuchs wheels Attorney customers on me. These lawyers "make pit bulls look like fluff *****". ha! Intimidation after he ruined my wheels.

Also the other owner ( he claims ) of this company, who does the actual work called me to discuss the prob. Very hard to listen to this guy. My head was spying listen to this guy. All nonsense.

That just sucks *****, and not in a good way. It's not like you can go to Pep Boys and get another set of Fuchs. Sorry to hear about your experience, but I am also glad to hear it before I sent my rims to them. Good luck.

You will be very happy with Harveys work. As someone else stated , tell him you are individual, not a flipper and he quietly scoots you ahead of some of the restoration shops. It will still be 10 weeks, especially this time of the year.

Harvey Weidman, Weidman's Wheels, is the man when it comes to wheels for sure. I have been to his shop and he has my deep sixes he is doing now. I hope to be getting these back in a month or so.

I had mine done at Fuchs restoration with no problems. Came out great. Paid extra for a rush and get them in 3 weeks. Sorry to hear about the bad experience of another poster.
