Default 69 911s motor/trans value

Need a ballpark figure on the value of a 1969 911s motor and trans. Lots of miles, running but possibly tired. Webber carbs, correct numbers for year. Nothing dodgy about the numbers stamping. Why? I've found a project car with this in it. I want to asses the value to estimate cash in hand to buy correct motor and balance towards restoration. Thanks in advance, Daniel

Depends how complete the S motor is and what correct parts it has.

also really depends a lot on whether it can "numbers match" with a concoursey or collector type guy who wants a 'correct' motor for his car
