Default Please help ID a Tail Rubber Part #

Hello everyone. I've been restoring a 911 that was unfortunately left in a barn in Maine w/o climate control to the mice and humidity by the previous owner for about 8 years.

Needless to say, I'm almost done minus a few things. One of them being the whale tale that has the upper curved rubber piece that is severely dry-rotted. I tried using some rubber restorers with little recovery. I finally just died it black with vinyl dye as a temporary fix. However, it's time to replace it.

The issue is, I'm having trouble finding a direct replacement because of the few different types of tails that are out there.

Again, I'm looking for the large rubber/vynal piece that bolts onto the vented piece that rests on the rear deck.

Can someone please help me find the correct part (ideally with the part #) and perhaps a place to source it? I think I've seen some examples floating around Ebay.

Thanks in advance. Much appreciate it.

I'm attaching some pictures of the tale in question

if this is a factory turbo tail the part number will be on the Porsche website in the parts section.

I'm not sure if it's a factory turbo tail as I'm new to 911's in general. The car itself is a 1977 911s, but it's had fenders and the tails added by previous owners.

Yes, your '77 has had flairs added the the front & rear fenders. As theiceman says, it definitely looks like someone added the 930 "tea tray" tail. Check some of the Porsche "bone yards", you might be able to get a used one in good shape at a fraction of the cost of new. I have had good luck getting used parts from dcAutomotive and from Parts Heaven.
