NY fall foliage cruise 2017
First let me say I'm sorry for having not posted many events this year, I've been going through some personal issues and pretty much cancelled all but 2 of them(spring and brewery run).
anyway, I'm going to make this easy and simple
meet up time and place: 8am meet, 830 depart
Park and ride, exit 13 palisades parkway
first stop: Perkins memorial, if the road is closed, we will park at the base for a few moments before leaving
second stop: scenic overlook, rt9w north near west point
Finish spot: a restaurant, depending on the size of the group
roads that will be used are seven lakes drive, 106w, arden valley, rt9, rt218, and 6w.
I've had groups of 4 to groups of 70. Depending on how many people show up will sort of dictates where we end up. Clearly a small place won't be able to accommodate 70.
I will post a map location of the start spot, the address given will be that of the Dunkin donuts next door, there is gas there as well and a couple others along the way if needed. The route length will be about 125 miles total and take from about 8:30 to 12:30.
If the group gets to be too big for a local place my default is a winery in warwick that I use for the spring fun run. They charge 10 bucks to park, food and a drink will run you less than 20 unless you buy a lot.
more information will be posted when I complete posting this to other pages and forums
any questions can be messenged to me here or contact 908 304 37 six 9, my personal line.
