Default Heater conversion

I've had my 911 for approx 2.5 years. The heater motor was shot, so I converted to the old style system that pushes air from the fan only. (Like the old vw's-sorry purists) Got the parts from a Porsche dealer and they were realitively easy to install. In the mild climate where I live, it works well.

The system is an automatic one. I am interested in completing the job and converting to a manual. The car currently has one lever between the seats that will not stay up unless I use something to prop it.

Any thoughts

You will want to get the handbrake assembly or get all of the misc parts for the heater lever. It actually uses a different set of parts to keep the handle up. If you need a list let me know, I can fax the diagram over.
