Hey gang, I'm looking for the Kienzle MCR 1016BT. I really like the look of it and I'm not crazy about the newer models like the 1116BT (chrome and shiny screen, yuck).

I reached out to Schlauer-Shop24 on EBay, a popular Kienzle/VDO seller but haven't heard back yet.

I didn't explicitly say this above but - I can't find the older model Kienzle for sale anywhere on the internet. Does anyone know where to buy one or have one for sale? I only want a new one, not used. Thanks!

a lot of people are running the Continental bluetooth unit(which i think may be the same as the Kienzle)

Right on, yeah that's my backup. In fact I've had no luck finding the Kienzle 1016BT that I'm probably just going to get the Continental (or the VDO which is very similar but with a blue backlit display).

Yeah I've had no luck finding the 1016BT, either. Seems I'm two years too late. I imagine one pops up for sale every now and then used, but who knows when that will be. It's too bad I like the 1016BT, as well. The newer 1116BT has nice features but the aesthetics just don't seem to do it as well for me. But at the same time I'm close to going with it. I like the Continental units, too. Biggest downside is the lack of USB smartphone compatibility. So for me at least right now it's down to the Continental TR7412UB-OR or the Kienzle MCR-1116BT. Also like a few of the Kenwood Excellon's feature-wise but I feel like they would look out of place.
