I'm having fun with this one - not! My son & I have stripped a basket case 1974 911S car down (like to no paint), totally rebuilt everything except the engine - which we sent away to get done right (all the fixes needed for a 74 2.7L - and bored out to 3.0L, with 9.5 compression to boot!), and bought a rebuilt tranny. The paint is done, the interior is back in, the engine & tranny are in, all electrics check-out - BUT we cannot find the right clutch throw out arm!!! (this is the external arm that slips on the splined throw out shaft , and that the clutch cable attaches to)
- what we need is the simplest early 70's arm - straight arm, straight cable connection, no spring assist. It is no longer available from the factory, and none of my regular sources can seem to find this piece.
IT"S ALL THAT STOPS US FROM GETTING THE BEAST ON THE ROAD!!!
So I could really use some guidance in finding this part......
