Sorry, that title is probably not the best. I was looking at buying a Rennline lower dash cover, but it looks like it is made to cover the complete passenger side and would also cover the area that houses your defrost/cigarette buttons etc. I am going to take the radio out and really just looking for something to clean up the look ala the Singer style dash look. Am I better of just getting a radio block off plate and calling that good enough?

Has anyone done anything similar? I am thinking about just ordering one up and trimming it to fit but that might be a waste if someone else already has a solution

How good are you at fabrication? I made a delete plate for my dash air controls that looks factory. Aluminum is willing to do whatever you tell it to do.

I'm mid pack, but don't have a ton of tooling to really get things where they would need to be. Maybe the answer is to mock up what I want and have someone with some skill remake a better version.
