Default Modifying Stock Anti-Sway Bars......

Always on the hunt for things that will improve my car I was reminded of just how little I know about cars when I saw the third picture on the paragon page below.

It's the closer the hole, the stiffer the bar. THAT IS INSANE NEWS TO ME. Mind blowing info.

I had no idea until I did the M030 suspension swap on Odurandina's 968.

https://www.paragon-products.com/kb_results.asp?ID=72

Then there is this thread with the photo of the adjustable rear sway on the back of a 993. Again, mind starts turning....

https://rennlist.com/forums/993-foru...r-summary.html

Then it hits me. The rear bar on my car has the extra flat area needed for additional adjustment holes....like the factory saw this day coming... There must be room for a couple extra holes.

Added to the list.

(Yes, there may be some alignment issues, but I gotta at least check it out.)

Well what do ya know... That's honestly very interesting. Looking forward to seeing how this mod goes once you start playing with it!

I don't like to lump lots of mods together, but now is the perfect time. Going to finish the AFR meter install, finish the AGM battery install, the extra oil holder install , the bigger fuel injector install, adjust my exhaust valves, install a giant K&N cone filter, so why the heck don't we just throw in a sway bar mod while we are in there?...

If you can get the rear stiff enough, then you can do powerslides like Bo and Luke in the General Lee.
