Default Again CEL..

Not sure if I will make it.

On my way back to Champion now, getting the same CEL with very low rising oil and watertemps after cold start. Drove 5 miles and the needle for the oil temp only comes off the peg when I stop!

It has been back for the same problem twice already. Temp sensor and thermostat replaced.

Problem is that it takes 50-100 miles or 2-3 days for the problem to re-occur, so I am getting doubtful they can fix it today and tomorrow.

Should I run on track? I mean on track the temps will come up..

I have a family skiing trip planned out for this weekend but I really want to go to Sebring real soon! There is another event at the end of this month, I'm planning to attend that one

Peter,
i had the same exact issue.
it's the coolant valve from the engine to the tranny.
mine failed 2x.
i understand there is no harm to the car, but should confirm with dealer.

your dealer should know about this if in communication with germany.

Thanks Nine9Sixer, I am waiting for the mechanic and mention this to him. It's worrysome, they just called me with a list of mods to the car and asked me what else. I don't see why they must list my camera, drop links and Sharky to the guys in Germany!

How much work is it to replace the valve? A days' work?

I hear you!

The Chin event is at the end of March, are you planning to attend any events before that around Homestead?
