Default Free Sparco Race seats

I have an older pair of Sparco fixed back racing seats in good condition. I removed them from my 73 along with the brackets, sliders, and seat bases because at one of the tracks where I run DE, seats are being inspected for date stamps and these are too old.

They are free for the taking if you can pick them up. I live in Yardley, Pa, just north of Philadelphia.

Please email me at rdargenio@aol.com if you want them. I have little room in the garage so I would like to get them gone within a week.

Let's hear it for Ron...that is a very nice gesture for your fellow enthusiast. Nobody better than Ed as a recipient either(except me).

I remember that a few years ago, a fellow R'Lister helped with an unobtanium steering wheel hub in exchange for his favorite beer. What goes around comes around.

well... this has been exciting!

I found out I can get complete new covers for the seats for about $200/ea (maybe someday)
I bought the missing plastic parts (like $20 total)
figured out how to mount my stock seatbelt - made a couple parts
then comes mounting... now Ron provided plates but they didnt fit for whatever reason. I thought long and hard then came up with these little guys. Still need to pick up a couple bolts to finish it off, but wanted to show my progress. You see the clearance between the mounting nut and the standoff in the car is too close to just use a plate...and the heads of the stock screws are so close to the rails they hit, so needed to recess them....

anyhow, still working out the bugs, but cant thank Ron and Scott enough
