Default Turn signal relay

Does anyone know where the turn signal relay is located behind the dash? I bought the relay and have been looking online for a schematic of the dash and can't find one that shows the relay.

Also will I need to remove the dash or can I contort myself under the driver floor and find it?

In my car the turn signal no longer makes the ticking sound and it will not reset if I am making a left turn. I don't like being the guy who drives down the road with my left turn blinker blinking for 5 miles!!!

thanks

The relay is located in the center consol ahead of the gear shift on the right side. There is a carpet covered access panel that it's behind, very easy to get at. I changed mine but it did not cure the problem. Spraying contact cleaner into the switch stalk did.

THANKS 993PET! I know exactly where you are talking about. I'll give it a shot and then onto contact cleaner if necessary.

I love this forum.

When I selected the right turn signal, nothing happend no light nothing except a buzzing in the center consul from the relay (that's how I found the the relay). I replaced the relay but the problem remained. Joel Reiser suggested the contact cleaner sprayed into the switch. It worked perfectly no buzzing from the relay and the turn signal has functioned correctly ever since (3 months)

OK, well not quite what I am going through, was hoping it would be simple like that. I am blowing out fuse 33 (right rear signal) when I select my right turn signal. Thanks for the reply I may try the cleaner before I start really ripping through the wiring harness. -D²

+1 for contact cleaner. It worked like a charm. Now the relay makes the clicking sound and the signals reset after turns.

Thanks for the tip!
