Correct Alignment 2009TT
Sorry guys...I searched and couldn't find the answer.
So, is my alignment inherently incorrect coming from the dealer/factory and should I have it set/reset and if so, to what for everday (DD) driving? It's going to my local Porsche mechanic tomorrow so I can have them do whatever I ask them to do.
Thanks in advance.
Nick

The factory alignment specs have a wide variation, definitely have it checked out. If it is a new car Porsche will re-align for free wthin the first 2 or 3 thousand miles.

Great chart, Alex LOL!
I can see the tech at the dealership... "Well, you know TTSurgeon's been running minus two out back and he's been pretty happy..."
Nick, if you're just daily driving and doing the occasional track day, I'd recommend just sticking with the stock alignment. IMO it would be worth having it checked for a baseline read and peace of mind.
Otherwise, you have no idea where you started if you want to start tweaking the setup. Plus, it helps prevent this scenario one morning when you're heading out to work: "Why is my $400 right rear corded on the inside???!!!"
