Default 718 Spyder Spoiler Lip Gaurd/Exhaust

Hello Folks.

I have owned by 2023 Spyder for a few months now. Got it as CPO, 1 owner. I am starting to get some scratches on front lip and it breaks my heart every time it happens. Has any one had any luck with protecting that area. The car is other wise fully PPF wrapped. Just the Front spoiler lip needs some love. Any recommendation/Links are appreciated.
Also, If any of you 718 Spyder owners have recommendation on an Exhaust system that is appreciated.

The front lip is pretty cheap to replace, around $300. Just put a new one on when yours gets too worn for your liking.

P/N 982807543GOK1 should be the right one.

Also Kline exhaust is awesome.

You’ve got to accept some minor signs of “use” if you actually drive these things. For exhaust Kline is IMO the best all around system, but it really depends on your goal.

Hello Uncledude. I see you have a Spyder as well. I am guessing you have a Kline Exhaust. Roughly how much is the labor charge that One should expect from getting it installed. Did you have any trouble with it voiding Warranty etc?

I'm a big fan of my Kline exhaust too.
I did get 2 seperate quotes for install of, one from the dealer and the other from a tuner shop, both were at $900. I ended up installing it myself since it's very straight forward. I do have a lcar lift though which made it easy.

Yep, the front lip will scrape and catch stones. It's cheap to replace... just know its the same for us all so dont fret.

Enjoy the car! Mine is a 23' also!

Definitely try not to worry about the front lip, it’s made out of plastic and is meant to be replaced. I would not ppf or do any type of protection.

Kline is one of the better selling exhausts systems we carry! Will send you over a quote

You can use Sliplo on the underside of the spoiler, up to the front edge, but it will not protect it from hitting curbs, etc. You can get some Rimskins in Black to put along the edge, which helped on mine albeit I used Yellow. And here is my exhaust suggestion:

Has anyone seen a DIY to remove the lip side trim pieces?

Thanks for your response. May i ask where you got that "hella Nice" Bumper from? Did you change the whole bumper or just put Spyder in sticker?

Thanks! No need...
I'll have a set in hand soon. Looks like just 2 screws (and some double sided tape)
