I wear walking boots for walking, racing shoes for driving, and trainers to look good.
Just makes more sense to me.

I've heard good things about Chicane shoes. Their Speedsters remind me of the old Piloti's

Oh man! She was good, Nancy with the laughing face. I loved how Tarantino used her song Bang Bang in Kill Bill.

Pumas are a great alternative if you want something that can also just be worn everywhere. They also have themed shoes for their Motorsports shoes. Like they have Porsche branded shoes. Unfortunetly i think their BMW M shoes look the best. But the other great thing about Puma's is the price. Most of the shoes sit around the 90$ range vs Pilotis which are around 200$.
I love my Piloti's but as i have flat feet, once i do any sort of walking in them, i get really bad feet pain.

They have better sales than that from time to time. They were bombarding me with emails with 60% off a few months ago. They're great shoes for $100 but not sure about $200.

My forefoot is wide and I didn't realize they ran narrow, so I ordered a pair about a year ago. I simply can't wear them. They look nice and seem like they would be great for people with narrow feet.

Pilotis are a little narrow. I liked my first pair so much that I bought another. Leather is very soft and they are very comfortable for my narrow bony feet. Great for long drives with cruise on. They are not bulky so I can rest my right foot under the brake pedal. 200 bucks is not that much for a good pair of shoes.

I just bought a pair of these Goodyears. Nice shoe and light, but not very flexible and the sole isn't much thinner than some conventional sneakers I've had. Anyone try Puma Speedcats?

I always liked the onitsuka tiger serrano for driving but looks like they are not sold in the usa anymore. Weird. Anyway great pedal feel and the black/white one look good.
Im definitely piloti curious though. I’ll check them out.
