Default Spyder RS vs GT4 RS vs Evora GT

Just traded in the 4RS for the Spyder RS...some early thoughts-

Spyder RS has a noticeably more compliant ride- comfortable on pretty much all surfaces around the Chicago suburbs- 4RS could get a little punishing on broken pavement.
No need for FAL on curbs / inclines that the 4RS would scrape.
Transmission / engine response feels the same (no surprise)
Spyder RS body surprisingly stiff without cowl shake and does not feel noticeably heavier than the 4RS. Structure noticeably more stout than 986 and 987 Boxster.
RS top is pretty easy to put up and down in "bra" mode- can easily do it in < 2 minutes.
Frunk and trunk both quite spacious...can handle routine costco runs
IMO, Spyder RS sounds "better" than the 4RS- not quite as loud; PSE fantastic and higher pitched than 4RS (which droned a touch imo)
Sofas far easier to deal with day to day but LWBS in 4RS much better for track
Also IMO, Spyder RS looks like nothing else on the road (besides Spyder) and is better looking / more distinctive than the 4RS
4RS cabin "felt" more claustrophobic c/w Spyder with top up- not sure if this is borne out by measurements

Overall, SRS is a great summer daily driver but probably a bit too soft for the track. 4RS was amazing at Road America- look forward to taking the Spyder this fall.

As for the the Evora GT- still a superb, cohesive package highlighted by superior steering and great chassis balance. Softer sprung but very communicative. Love the Sparco carbon fiber SPX seats. More airy feeling cabin and love the old-school gauges / interior design (more than the Emira). Toyota SC engine surprisingly strong, and pulls hard up to a disappointingly low redline (6500ish). Sounds great with AERIE titanium exhaust. Manual transmission with longish throws requiring patience and precision but super for street driving (not so much for track). Also looks great despite lack of Euro-spec front bumper. Despite reputation for questionable build quality and reliability- I've had no issues over 4 yrs and 20K miles (2 yrs with Evora 400, 2 yrs with GT) with multiple track days. A great partner for a PDK 911 / 718

I hope the SRS doesn't feel heavier than the 4RS since it's technically lighter...

Do you happen to have any pictures of the car? I think our cars might be twins since I also got Vanadium with sofas. Too bad it is now at least delayed by 3 months and counting. Hopefully mine gets to port soon, so that it can eventually make it way to Chicago as well. BTW, which dealer did you get yours from? Looking forward to seeing the pictures.

Great looking spec! Can't wait to hear more comments about the car after you get more seat time. Enjoy!!

Great combo. I rented an Evora GT for a weekend and nearly traded my 911 for one. The suspension and steering feel are magical. My SRS (also Vanadium) arrived to Emden earlier this week . Enjoy!
