PTS Build Advice
Hey gents,
So I had the luxury of being able to spec out my 991.2 GT3rs back in 2019 (chalk with weissach) with no intention to ever sell the car (already have close to 20k miles on it). The gt4rs was always something that i considered going into should i be able to get an allocation at msrp without the adm nonsense that dealers have been obsessed with in recent years.
1- i was wondering if the gt4rs is different enough to warrant keeping both? I have not driven the gt4rs yet but ive spend some time in the 718 spyder which i absolutely loved.
2- advice on this build. dealer gave me a min build amount which is why i went with the PTs as opposed to adding the mag wheels or ceramics as i personally dont like the mag design and ceramics will get expensive given the mileage ill be putting. i figured this combo was unique enough to hold value over time better than the standard colors.

appreciate any of your thoughts!

I don't think the GT4RS is different enough to warrant keeping both. If you want to still keep the GT3RS, why not get something that will give a different driving experience? The new Mercedes AMG GT63 looks appealing to me, as does the new Aston Martin Vantage. Both still highly capable luxury sports cars but not as hard edged as a Porsche RS car.

Try Porsche Racing Green metallic - I think it's much cooler than Olive. Nice spec lovely car

I was never a fan of the AMG from a driving point of view. the other car i was considering was a 675LT but ive never driven it nor do i know much about the worries of owning one outside of warranty

If you are speccing it for value, you should choose a more rare PTS color. Many Nato Olive 4RS's already exist.

I'll second the suggestion made by @cooler2442 .
There are about 10 new PTS colors that were ADDED for the 2025MY. Sean Peach is BANGER to my eyes. Also, I think the 718 bodies show more character with lighter colors (obviously, opinion).
Finally, go for the FULL PAINTED hood...you may as well maximize your value with the PTS spend..as FULL PAINTED hood is a no-cost add.
Best wishes in whatever you decide.

You sure you want olive green? If that was the cheapest GT4 RS on the planet, I'd pass for any other color. If you ever try to sell, you'll pay twice for that color choice, but you do you. Apples and oranges, but in 1967 Goodwood Green was the most popular color for Corvettes--when shopping in 2010 for one, just could not buy a green car even though it was number matching top flight candidate.
I make this other comment, where applicable--take the no-cost smoking package. Console looks better with the closed cigarette lighter compartment, you gain the 12 volt socket in the console that's handy for plugging in a battery maintainer, and get rid of that nearly worthless open cubby.

Thanks! The filtering on this seems to make it hard to figure out what it really looks like.
Although this video is great! Honestly looks better than I thought it would. Just have to figure out if I like it THAT much more than Shark Blue, especially on an RS car.
