Parts manager at my dealer said it’s plug and play- any spyder, cayman/ boxster gts even adaptive sport seat from carrera can work. Anyone know more about this?

There are a few threads here and on the 981 GT4/Spyder and the 911 GT3 forums. In general, the rails seem to be compatible and seats are fairly easy to replace. Main differences are in the extra connections: you may not be able to make use of heated or ventilated seats since your car will not be prewired for it and check if you can get the power for the motorized seats.

I’d trade all the carbon fiber in the world (on the SRS) for ventilated seats!
