We include a phone mount inside every RoadSpy package. Any cellphone can be mounted on your RoadSpy by using that mount as it has a spring-loaded retractable arm that adjusts to any cellphone. The link to Bimmerworld was for a separate type of mount that only works with Garmin Catalyst cameras.

Besides for the phone mount we also include a 1/4" threaded camera adapter that will work on most non-GoPro cameras like DJI or INSTA360 etc. But if you do have a camera that has a proprietary mount like the Garmin Catalyst there is usually an adapter available that will tie the camera in to the RoadSpy.

The radar detector mounts do need to be bought separately. There are so many types of radar detector mounts we refer folks to Amazon for now until we start stocking them ourselves. The one you'll need for your Passport model is here:





I'd also suggest buying a set of these extenders so you can position the Passport so it goes right under your rear view mirror:

Seems deceptive to offer a “special discount” price for rennlist members that is actually higher than what anyone could by them for on ebay…

Hello! I'm the person on eBay that you spoke with. Let me clarify what has happened with pricing. When we first started, we listed the RoadSpy alone at $69 on eBay, Amazon and our website but soon realized that most folks wanted a kit that also had a phone mount plus the 1/4" universal camera adapter included and didn't want to buy those adapters separately. You'll need the 1/4" adapter if you're attaching most any other camera that isn't a GoPro (INSTA360, DJI, etc.) So we added these items to the packaging and raised our price to $79 from $69. Your query on eBay reminded me that the extra 2 adapters hadn't been added to the description and the old price without the adapter was still up there, eBay is pretty much dead compared to Amazon and RL. RLers get a 10% discount with code RL2024 on checkout. Thank you for your interest, if you have any more questions please let me know. The pricing on eBay is now $79 to match our website prices and will not be lower than that.

Did anyone get this with the bimmerworld adapter for the Garmin Catalyst? I’m curious how it looks installed.

My catalyst came with the adapter but it puts the camera too low for my taste so I used the standard adhesive mount just to the right of the mirror mount.
