If no CXX, my vote is no. Your detailer Is the last person that would know how to do it. The stripe is non-filled piping out of similar material as the roof. It would require pulling that edge seam. No go for me.

Yeah, that’s a good observation. I’d trust Frank at Exclusive Option to examine it…

NO
...
Simply said - it's too much...
The yellow wheel pin stripe would also be a NO vote if you were asking

The local detailer works on F cars worth millions or vintage cars older than 50 years , they can (re) do anything and better than CXX
i don t see the problem

As someone who has specified yellow all over his inbound RS both inside and outside, I think that looks terrible. Even if done by Porsche themselves, it just looks like a tacky, “look at me” accent. The whole game is about the car — it’s not about the convertible top.

Obviously personal choice, but my rule of thumb - bright colors, don't add another bright color. I would try get rid of all the yellow.

On your car/spec, I think it will be too much.

On that note, I actually got an answer from sonderwunsch recently about this, as I also was thinking a yellow stiching would match interiour yellow stitching;

"Unfortunately, we are currently unable to change the stitching of the roof via CXX. As of today, we can offer the release tabs in black via CXX, but unfortunately not more on the roof."

Interesting about the release tabs.
(Don't take this for an all mighty answer for all cars and for the future. We were talking about my specific allocation with not much time to production. Per now, I also have no more info, for example about the price on release tabs.)

Not a fan of yellow accents…even on brake calipers.

The OP asked about the roof - why all of the comments about other parts??? He is probably spec'ing the car for himself, as I did.

Here’s how it is supposed to look. Note - deviated stitching in racing yellow does not appear on the configurator.

I went with the black brake calipers because almost everyone does the yellow which makes me want to be different; also I think it draws too much attention away from both the car and the wheel itself; finally, as someone who really doesn’t like black wheels and has never once selected black wheels and always changed them away from black when configuring a Porsche which comes standard with black wheels (3 GTS cars and one Spyder), I thought the yellow racing stripe on the black wheel would add just the touch to interact with the interior; I also thought silver or grey wheels would introduce another color to the exterior which would again draw the eye away from the car. Then I decided the yellow decals is also something absolutely nobody is going to do, and therefore I did them because I think they interact nicely and give a bit of spirit to a car that has lots of black trim elements around it.

Flame suit is on - I don’t expect everyone to like it. Do you?

Nice. I went with Black calipers and actually I have some Yellow emblems on my Spyder (no decals).
