Default Length of time to approve a PTS request?

I have a PTS request in on a 718 SRS - it has been about 4 weeks.

I'm curious - how long have others waited for a confirmation on a PTS 718? Currently sitting in V110.

(Fingers crossed for a holiday "surprise/gift" and get this order locked)

Curious as I didn't know it was possible to get a PTS when it wasn't offered. I'm hoping for a 718 allocation next month and not real happy with the colors on offer. If you don't mind saying, what is the price quote that you got for a special PTS?

PTS offered on some 718 models I believe? Wasn’t a special cxx request - just have to get approval from PCNA on timing. (I am ordering a Spyder RS)

Price was same as listed in configurator.

It's more about your allocation falling inside PTS window(s)....if your original allocation is not within these windows or there are any production issues the dealer will have to wait to get one or request one form PAG/PCNA...and it usually takes time.

What does that mean? Whats a window and how is it defined?

Means PTS is not open the whole time....they did expand capacity but an allocation has to fall within the dates they are doing PTS cars....the dealer request PTS and has to wait from PCNA/PAG to see if that specific allocation is Ok for PTS.

I was sitting in limbo for a few months back in May 2022 then the allocation dates uploaded (delivery date pushed back about 3 months).

this!!! - when I was ordering my Spyder we had to request PCNA to move the allocation "into" a PTS Windows, *and* the SA had to update the internal order with the paint code in a timely fashion in order to secure a
1st come 1st served place (which they did not)

I am still in V110 for over a month now. Was told by SA that there should be an update mid-January...

My SA told me two months most likely before we hear back. I've decided to try for PTS.

Less than 24 hours later and TYD shows my car in the requested PTS. Is this a good sign for approval?
