Does anyone know if there is an aftermarket recline bracket installed from this picture? These 4RS LWB's were significantly more comfortable than the 991.2 LWB's. With a noticeably more reclined backrest.

 

It's impossible to tell from that pic...but that hardware just above the track near the most forward end normally would have a black plastic cap over it. (and if I remember correctly it's normally installed with the nut inboard, and that looks like the nut on the outboard side.) And from you saying it was more comfortable than the 991 seat (which are the exact same seat), then I would say yes, it has a mod. I did the same mod, and it helped a ton in comfort. Sorry no one replied earlier and I just saw this.

 

I just picked up a 4RS and currently have 991.2 LWBs with the TPC bracket installed in my GT3. While the 4RS buckets are not as reclined they do seem to be more reclined than I recall the 991.2 buckets being pre bracket. I remember sitting in the 991.2s when I first got them and saying "Oh hell no". I had LWBs in a GT4 previous to the GT3 and never installed a recliner bracket on those. I'll have to throw my helmet on and see how they feel.

 

Just confirmed they are stock, no after market bracket. Wow. What a big difference from 991.2 LWB. These are not just slightly more reclined but better lumbar and fit everywhere IMO. I'm 6'1" 200 lbs for reference, 32" waist, athletic build.
