My build locks on 03.21 and production starts 04.17. WP+PCCB+ painted hood (non-pts)
Does anyone know if the painted hood takes shorter time to make?

Your SA will know which ship your car ''gets" onto.

Sales guy said he only finds out the name of the ship literally the day it’s loaded — not in advance. Before that we have to assume.
To him what’s weird is the next ship goes to Baltimore and skips Jacksonville to head straight to Texas. He says the ships usually stop in Jacksonville if they docked in Baltimore.

Was hoping for the source of the chart— the chart posted was a snippet of a complete document, even though all relevant data was there. I was also hoping the data was incomplete and there might be more ships. I found the info at <https://www.pwl.de/en>.

Waiting for the car to arrive is a whole lot better than waiting for an allocation!

Also note that Porsche uses more RORO companies beyond what PWL lists. Additionally, this schedule is specific to Volkswagen, there can be stops not listed that don't pertain to Volkswagen which are not on the schedule. Most RORO company schedules only post schedules for customer open slots... they don't include contracted stops not open to anyone else. Example Benicia is specific to Porsche and usually isn't on the schedule, but they stop there for Porsche only. West Coast typically uses Hyundai Glovis & NYK Lines. Not sure on East Coast... HOEGH, Wallenius Wilhelmsen, K-Line are other popular ones that auto manufactures use.

Wow I didn’t know this… And I’m happy to read it. Then I imagine there’s potential for the car to leave when it’s supposed to leave, which is on March 20 (Track Your Dream) or even today (Porsche system as of today). If this list of ships is not necessarily a complete list, then there sure is a chance.
It’d be great to “catch the boat!” Will probably know for sure by next Thursday 21st.

You're at the mercy of the port. Could be instant, could be a couple months.

Naturally, but it isn’t going to be a couple months. That thing is coming - and it’s coming on the next boat that has space. And the next boat is 3 weeks out worst case. How do I know? Sixth sense
