Do your research, most are just brokers.
There are a few like Reliable who own and control the process.
I went through a broker on a new Bronco purchase from PA to TX and it was fine. I wouldn’t do it with a Porsche that I cared about though.
My dealership won’t schedule transport anymore…got burned too many times.

I've used A1 Auto for years with great results.

There are literally tons of transportation companies out there. They ALL use “central dispatch” to find runs. Many of them are fly-by-night that have awesome looking websites, and do not screen the actual transporters, and do NOT help when there is an issue. I contracted with a company out of Florida (owner’s name is Jared) to transport a car for me from California to Indiana. The transport company broke down in Colorado and Jared refused to help saying he only ‘connects owners and transporters.’
Bottom line is my car was stuck on a trailer for 2 weeks until the transport company could get another truck out there to pick it up for me. Jared offered no help. He made his phone call, kept my money, and that was it as far as getting my car to me.
Do your research before you contract with anyone. Hopefully, members here will steer you in the right direction.

I used Intercity Lines because they are an actual transport company. Paid more and waited longer for the car. But peace of mind vs. rolling the dice on whatever truck you end up getting. Some people have said nice things about Bears Transport here as a broker. Horseless Carriage and Reliable are other companies but the former was far too pricey for me.

Curious how it went for you with Montway. I had considered them but decided on PlyCar. They pick up for me tomorrow to bring my new Cayenne S across country. Can't wait!
