Default Neutral by pulling both paddles

Hello! So I've tried putting a base loaner 2.0 PDK in neutral by pulling both paddles. I had a hard time putting it back in gear by pulling the right paddle. When pulling it it wouldn't go back in gear and I had to try several times.

Is this a known feature or what? I suppose my upcoming CGTS will have the same behaviour but I'm not sure if it good to use it (I guess for revving when standstill or low speed) or if it puts stress to the PDK?

I've seen videos of a GT3 when pulling paddles would make the clutch slip and goes back in gear the moment you release the paddles, that is a nice feature to have. So I'm wondering the real reason this similar feature exists in the 718.

Thanks

My 2022 GTS 4.0 goes back into gear with no problem after pulling both paddles to take it out of gear.

The PDK paddle programming is different between GT and GTS.

Releasing the GT paddles you are immediately in gear; this allows for a clutch kick.

Hey there. I have had this happen before and was able to recreate it. I will drive around this weekend and try to remember the steps. If I recall I believe it had something to do with being stopped instead of in a “neutral roll”
