Default AC heat control question

The heat turns on every time I start the car, even if I shut it off before turning off the car.
is there a way to make this stop?

No, that’s normal.

Perhaps try turning everything off then setting your "key" memory function to that configuration - that's the only thing I can think of that might work, but I haven't actually tried it since I prefer to always have the fan running.

I believe the fan will always be on by default, even at lowest speed, to ensure air circulation in the cabin. I think most cars now do this.

Believe the OP has a Spyder. There are no key memory functions on the 718 GT cars.
