Safe Products to Clean LWBs & all Other Suede
I know this is a frequently brought up discussion elsewhere on this forum, but given the high concentration of 718 GT4 and Spyder owners without the leather option, I figured I would ask here. I have about 1,900 miles on my '23 Spyder and I want to keep the Race-Tex / alcantara in "new" condition. Does anyone recommend a product to use to clean the steering wheel, shift ****, boot, door sils and lower dash? Also would you use the same or different product for the LWB inserts given it is a different material?

Definitely the Sonax alcantara cleaner. It's rather cheap too when on sale.

I personally love the AMMO NYC products for both interior and exterior.
Sonax is a def good choice though as it's cheaper and works quite well. Ive used both and prefer the AMMO **** interior cleaner but at the end of the day its just personal preference.

More importantly its not what you use form any of the listed here, its how you use it.
I use the large brush on the outside edges and crevices of the car, the small one for the interior.
I spray the product (diluted) lightly onto the Alcantara, and a little into the brush and aggetate the surfaces Im cleaning, then I wipe lightly with a damp plush microfiber towel.

Sonax Alcatera and upholstery cleaner, been using it on Alcantera successfully for 6 years, and the last year on Race-Tex. Works better on Race-Tex. Just follow the directions exactly, and it really works.
