Bucket Seat Inserts
Hello,
Anyone have any feedback on the 3D printed body form bucket inserts from Porsche? I’m just genuinely curious if they are worth the cost.
I understand that the general go to is P1 inserts.
Thanks,
Jay

You might have more luck scouring the 992 GT3 forum as I imagine there might have been more potential takers of this option there than here.

Yeah, I actually spent quite a bit of time there and found one post but with limited feedback. Maybe I’ll cross post there as well. Thanks!

You likely already understand this but P1 inserts are more for cosmetic purposes w/o any firmness options (except memory foam?!?!) the 3d body form inserts are more performance oriented and considerably more $$

I am more focused on comfort and quality. However, I know the lumbar support with memory foam from P1 will serve the purpose as well.

Memory foam (of any kind) will absolutely improve comfort especially the longer time you spend in the seats, the more you will feel it reducing fatigue.
The lumbar support + memory foam, no not really. If I had to do P1 inserts again, it will just be memory foam.
The OEM options (unless you get an opportunity to actually sit in them and experience them for at least an hour), it'd never be a fair comparison.
For comfort regardless of price, I will always choose something with memory foam over everything else regardless of fabric finishes or cool looking mesh.
