Default PADM needs servicing?

Half way through session #3 in my first weekend DE for my spyder (this car is…well suited to track work), I got an error message flash up saying my PADM was offline, and needed servicing. It stayed a persistent fail whenever I turned on the car the rest of the weekend. A google search revealed this was Porsche Active Drivetrain Management, which is apparently engine mount “stiffness” related, and is associated with Sport mode (or some such) when you have Sport Chrono. I never engaged Sport mode, and it said I could keep driving; just get it serviced. I admit I think I associate first seeing it when I was cresting a slight rise, so maybe the system being pushed up discombobulated it somehow.

Now to see whether they’ll honor the warranty on this.

Who is your (servicing) dealer?

Might consider leaving out the tracking part when you bring it in. Unless you know your dealer is cool with it. No need to give them any reason to deny coverage IMO.

I’ll leave off any names at this point, as I feel it would imply I was complaining about them. They did the tech inspection, so… lol I don’t expect any grief, but ya never know.

I don’t know if this is an actual fail, or what. The message says “needs servicing.” A bit passive / aggressive. lol I drove 4.5 more sessions, with nothing noticeably wrong, but then I hadn’t turned on Sport mode.
