The Slip-On Race Exhaust is constructed from high-grade titanium with a sandblasted finish. Two valves with housings made in-house tailor the sound, providing a smooth rich tone at lower speeds, rising to a true sporty sound at higher revs. The tailpipe diameter is larger than standard stock tailpipes, with a coated outer and a cast inner shell without coating, which will react with heat to take on an attractive blue color. Each tailpipe has a laser-engraved Akrapovič logo. Power and torque are increased by 5.6 kW (7.6 hp) at 4,950 rpm and 19.3 Nm at 2,250 rpm when tested on the Akrapovič dyno against a Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS with a standard stock exhaust. Weight is reduced by 7.6 kg (44.4%) over the stock system.

The optional Link Pipes are fabricated using high-grade titanium and insulated with stainless steel. The front part is cast in-house and shaped to provide correct clearance of the stock shocks. The sport 200 cpsi catalytic converters are integrated and have extra insulation for heat protection. For non-OPF cars, a new plug is included to disable the EGT sensor. It weighs in at 4.9 kg (38.9%) less than the stock system. Installed with the Slip-On Race Line (Titanium), power gains of 19.5 kW (26.5 hp) at 4,950 rpm and torque increases of 38.1 Nm at 4,900 rpm have been recorded on the Akrapovič dyno when tested against a Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS with a standard stock exhaust. Due to more direct gas flow, the sound has a true racing quality with high-frequency tones.

Yes, please explain about the plug Akrapovic uses to disable the sensor. I am assuming non OPF cars are North American cars.

This exhaust doesn't mix the banks with an X-pipe, so your still stuck with OEM tone. It's a shame as Akra is such quality stuff. If I had a GT4 RS I'd be seeing what Kline or JCR come up with, will sound leagues better than this.

I have the Akra on my Spyder - no complaints quite the opposite - YMMV

Can’t for the life of me get the sound clip to play… but I’m here thinking: how much louder can this car be (multiple “complaints” about it being too loud already) and how does this added exhaust note complement/ detract from what’s reported to be nirvana (mix of intake and exhaust) that this car represents?
I still want one for my upcoming car though 🫣🫣. But I feel almost compelled to let others try and report back first…
now seriously… what’s up with the sound clips?

Exactly what i was thinking. So, a few months ago, i got Kline to message me back.
At that time they said, all we have is a GT4 exhaust and believe that will work for the RS too.
I laughed and told them, half the exhaust is different and provided specific details.
Then, no response....

I assume JCR definitely have one in the works. I have the Kline on my GT4 - it's legit, massive improvement in tone over stock. The GT4RS uses the same muffler as the GT4 which is sub optimal, I'd be getting that thing off straight away.
