That's cheaper then getting Mags OEM as you have the standard alloys already fitted to the car.

how do you get the numbers? knowledge or speculation?

I saw that number here on Rennlist and from YouTube - I believe it was Harry's Garage video, its a 2.5 years production run, now with the stop production of the GT4 and Spyder I believe we should be able to see more allocations coming. on top of that Porsche planning a price increase, the GT4RS is going to see ~7% for MY24 - thats approx the cost of Mag wheels

Also doesn't require the weissach package.

For my purposes, I like the reg alloy wheels better.
a. Less money (free… well you know what I mean)
b. Pinstripes look better on the alloys since they have the natural outer lip (I’m doing pinstripes)
c. to me the alloys look more interesting (ymmv)

I strongly considered Mg wheels as well but the final straw for me was the PCCB stop sale, no sense doing light wheels and heavy brakes.
I intend to claw back some of the unsprung weight penalty by doing ST brake conversion (they’re supposed to be lighter than PCCB’s).

Augment wheels in Ontario can do magnesium. It might be a good place to check with the favourable exchange rate.

The HRE R101 Lightweight would be another excellent wheel model to mention in this thread. It is custom built to order and can be manufactured in as little as 2-4 weeks in any color and size that you want. I had these images rendered for a GT4RS client who just placed his order with me last week. So we should be seeing real-life photos of them on car soon.

For 20" in 5-lug, they came in at 16 lbs each front and 19.4 lbs each rear.

We are waiting to get weights back from another client who ordered them in 19" sizing.

Once the set that I closed this week is built, we'll know the weight of 20" Centerlock.

That is a C&C car setup. Look at the front front wheel to fender gap, lowered and the wheel is almost straight up and down in the vertical.
Just looking at the front wheels one can see its a modified alignment that is not conducive for track.
The wheel/brake pic it is misleading as its not a GT4RS setup; rotors are way to small.

He said it was a picture he had rendered though. I guess we'll see actual fitment when there is actually a real life picture.

"That is a C&C car setup" is going to have me chuckling for a long time though.

Aside from the fact that the image is a rendering, I would like to nominate this for the Rennlist comment of the year award please.

Yes. They can be optioned to have the same offset/width & clearance as the OEM wheels OR you can tweak these options slightly. Completely up to the customer.
